The Nike Air Force 1 Low Gives Off “Iron Man” Vibes In All Patent Leather

Blasting off in November.

The Nike Air Force 1 Low Gives Off “Iron Man” Vibes In All Patent Leather

The Swoosh and the Three Stripes have been sparring partners for as long as the former has existed, trading blows in shared collaborators, industry trends, and individual releases. By way of their Avengers Superstar effort and a looming Doctor Doom Anthony Edwards 3, adi is up in a current battle. The German giant may hold the cards when it comes to officially licensed product as Marvel’s end-of-year monoculture moment looms, but the Nike Air Force 1 Low “Iron Man” demonstrates that the Swoosh isn’t going gently into that good night.

Of course, given that Beaverton doesn’t hold the rights for an official “Iron Man” collaboration, the nickname here is our own shorthand. Yet especially given the patent leather body of this pair, it’s hard to not think of past iterations on Tony Stark, be it their own 2013 colorway or out-of-house product like the BAPE Marvel series. Here, extended overlay edges add a comic book cel-shading effect, paired with a burgundy base layer and clear amber midsoles and Swooshes.

This “Iron Man” Nike Air Force 1 Low should be dropping via Nike.com and partnering retailers on November 1st, retailing for $125 upon arrival.
