Andrew Rizzo Nike Sportswear is dropping a premium footwear pack that we can’t help but liken to past superhero shoes. Emerging right alongside an Air Force 1 reminiscent of Iron Man, or maybe the Human Torch, is an Air Max 95 akin to the Invisible Woman, set to release Fall/Winter 2026.
We should lead with the fact that Nike’s Fantastic Four pack is indeed set to return Summer 2027. These sneakers, while maybe emblematic of some of the pack’s characters, mismatch the colorways on different models and aren’t expressly Fantastic Four related, at least for now. We’re therefore left scratching our heads a little, but given how well these turned out, we’re not exactly complaining.
In a word, these things are stunning. Anchored by glossy patent leather paneling, the Air Max 95 executes a cool gradient with an “Off-White/Blue Tint/Football Blue/Blue Chill” palette operating from the top down. The lower half is especially notable, arriving with painted Air bubbles and icy outsoles.
The larger pack, which includes the aforementioned AF1 as well as multiple premium Air Max 90s, is tied together via insoles with unique Swoosh hits, the one throughline as far as we can see so far. Plenty more to come on the meaning and inspiration behind these as we creep closer to a release.
The Nike Air Max 95 Premium “Blue Tint” is currently hopping on retailer release calendars for a November 2026 launch, though the actual Nike drop could fall shortly before or after. Check out official images below if you’re a fan.
