We won’t tip our hand in any Sneaker of the Year discussions that may or may not be taking place, but it’s impossible to discuss 2026 in sneakers without acknowledging the continuing success of Vans. The Greg Betty-assisted designs that helped turn up the heat for the brand over the past several years have continued, yet even as his designs likely near their end, it’s clear that the experimental ethos his work encapsulates is still very much reverberating through the hallways in California.
The Vans “Floral Rivets” pack is the next to demonstrate that, part of a monthly wave of new product but certainly carrying an atmosphere a step above “your average GR.” Of course, the first thing to note on the Era, Old Skool, and Sk8-Hi are rows of steel rivets driven into the uppers of each, an extension of the “Charmed” motif that’s helped the skate brand become a fashion darling anew.
However, our eyes are really drawn to the mixed materiality, as abstract floral prints take up the center of each design in woven fabric. All three pairs turn to shaggy suede on the toe and collars, with the Old Skool and Sk8-Hi united in black and the Era breaking away in fiery red.
The Vans “Floral Rivets” pack, comprised of the Era, Old Skool, and Sk8-Hi, is available now via Vans.com. Retail is set at $130, $140, and $145, respectively. Catch images of all three below and use our “Where to Buy” links to secure yours.
