Nike is coming for your closet space and aiming to dominate your rotation this winter. The latest edition of its SNKRS Verified programming is solely focused on those goals, unveiling (or rehashing, in some cases) a range of winterized fare coming to Nike channels in the coming weeks. While we’ve already started to gain some familiarity with the Goadome “Croc” pack or the Foamdome Low, the Swoosh did make some space for a brand-new product: the Nike Rejuven8 WNTR.
In the abstract, the Rejuven8 WNTR is a complete 180 for the silhouette, a revived recovery model whose core selling point comes via breathable synthetic cages and a removable fabric bootie inside. Just based on that description, you can understand that the sneaker as a whole is decidedly summery, something that the brand only doubled down on when it unveiled a jelly sandal take on it earlier this year.
Turning the ship around entirely, the Nike Rejuven8 WNTR solidifies the exterior shell, now wrapped in more traditional suede panelling that gives way to a hardened lace unit. That’s fused to the midsole via a roughened welt that almost reminds one of Teyana Taylor’s concrete Jordan 3. Despite those boot-like touches, the removable bootie is still an integral part of this design, allowing the wearer to still customize their experience when the climate calls for it.
Like all the other products featured in this showcase, expect the Nike Rejuven8 WNTR to drop before the end of the year in both colorways.
