Who would have thought that LeBron James making his debut with a new team would ever be an afterthought? All eyes will indeed be on Jalen Brunson and the rest of the New York Knicks as the team hoists its championship banner at Madison Square Garden tonight, but for our purposes, The King’s still got our attention on the footwear front. The start of the 2026/27 season also begins the on-court run for the Nike LeBron 24, the Chosen One’s latest signature model set to carry the torch through his first season with the 76ers.
Here we have in-hand shots of the Nike LeBron 24 “Stars,” set to release November 2026 as one of the model’s first big global launches. Having the shoe in hand really puts in perspective how light it is, a huge drop-off compared to the bulk of the LeBron signature portfolio and even its immediate predecessor. The weight is accomplished partly through an all-new KingKnit upper, the namesake material innovation providing lockdown without adding much heft at all. The general shape takes after the LeBron 23, though the humongous crown mold of that shoe is replaced by a far smaller carbon fiber motif at the midfoot.
This “Stars” colorway keeps things relatively pared back, favoring a full Polarized Blue upper, black interiors, icy soles, and Racer Blue and Blue Glow accents elsewhere. It’s very possible this is the pair LeBron opts for to begin his 76ers tenure when he takes the court tonight against the Knicks at MSG. Even so, the general population will have to wait a bit longer to slip ’em on.
The Nike LeBron 24 “Stars” drops November 17th, 2026 in adult and grade school sizes, priced at $200 and $175 respectively. Check out detailed pics below if you’ll be circling back for a pair.
