Kevin Durant’s season opener kicks are Texas to the power of two. The Easy Money Sniper is entering his second season in Houston with a never-before-seen Nike KD 19 featuring brown cow print, an homage to his current stomping grounds and alma mater all the same.
The first part of the KD 19 run focused exclusively on monochrome colorways a la the Converse SHAI 001, highlighting the model’s futuristic, lightning bolt esque outer shell with a number of strong candy paint finishes. This latest chapter has taken a decidedly different direction with the shoe gradually picking up graphic-heavy treatments, including the KD 19 “Halloween” and the pair we have before us today.
Brown cow print covers the entire upper, though the areas around the lightning bolts are kept white so as to not let things get too hectic. Ornate black detailing over the cow print calls to mind cowboy boots, while a longhorn-inspired gold accessory sits at the top of the tongue.
The Nike KD 19 “Texas” might seem like a PE, but we’re happy to report these are actually headed to retail. Expect a Spring 2027 launch for $170 in men’s sizes.
