Hot on the heels of a two-pack timed to the start of the 2026/27 season, Kawhi Leonard’s fifth signature shoe continues to check off its rollout colorways with a first look at an “Oxford Blue” makeup.
True to its name, the New Balance Kawhi V “Oxford Blue” leans heavily into a monochrome light blue palette reminiscent of dress shirts and the like, with the namesake shade taking over virtually the entire shoe. The lone exception comes in the form of reflective silver “N” logos.
Kawhi stood as the lone New Balance signature hooper until recently, and while he remains a force to be reckoned with on the hardwood, the Boston brand’s basketball efforts now extend to Tyrese Maxey’s signature line as well as up-and-comers like Cooper Flagg and Cameron Brink.
Don’t let that take anything away from the shoes, though. It’s far too early to pass any sort of verdict on the Kawhi V, but for what it’s worth, his signature line has steadily improved as New Balance has logged more time in the performance basketball space. The tech specs certainly look promising on paper, with dual-density FuelCell foam, a Y-shaped TPU plate, a PU cast cage for lockdown, and multidirectional traction all making the cut.
The New Balance Kawhi V “Oxford Blue” is expected to release Holiday 2026 for $160 via New Balance and select retailers. Check out detailed shots below if you’re looking to put a pair to the test yourself.
