Now with a new championship pursuit underway, Sneaker Market Romania reports that the shoe will begin shipping in December 2026, relaying that info alongside official images of the 2026 version.
In a surprise to absolutely no one, the new Jordan 3 “Knicks” sports the exact same color blocking as the original from 2019. We knew that would be the case when Jordan Brand began accepting pre-orders in June, displaying a mockup (or maybe even the actual 2019 pair) with the same design. The main points worth discussing pertain to the shape of the Jordan 3 itself, which shifted slightly with the “White Cement Reimagined” in 2023 in an effort to bring the shoe closer to its 1988 appearance.
The modern Air Jordan 3 gets a more streamlined build, sporting a lower collar and heel tab compared to the slightly bulkier 2016 version. The tongue sits lower as well, and the fabric on the new pair gets tucked behind the main leather body portion. And of course, with any retro there are slight variances in color. While the 2026 edition maintains the same “White/Old Royal-University Orange-Tech Grey” specs as the original, some might notice the accent colors are slightly less saturated. One brand new addition: the 2026 version comes with a tag on the inner tongue reading “06.13.26,” the date the Knicks won their third championship.
Those who pre-ordered the Air Jordan 3 “Knicks” this summer can expect their pair delivered sometime before year’s end, likely in December.
