Right behind the ’90s cross trainers of the Preseason line among Reebok categories most seasoned collectors love is the DMX series, comprising character-packed walking, lifestyle, and sportstyle shoes built with Reebok’s moving-air cushioning technology. We’re currently living through a new push for the line, first via the DMX Series 3000 through collabs with names like Brain Child and Packer Shoes and now with the DMX Trailzillo, a new archive-inspired model that oozes retro hiking vibes.
The DMX Trailzillo is a not so distant relative of the DMX Armadillo from the year 2000, a trail and outdoor-inspired hybrid that’s now been given even more outdoor-worthy enhancements. The Nike Air Max Plus might be the model’s best non-Reebok comp, sharing in a wavy cage-like TPU structure as well as the moving-air cushioning housed within the midsole, called Tuned Air on the Air Max Plus. The key modern upgrades worth noting are the cage, now given a heftier TPU overhaul compared to the original Armadillo, and the addition of a Vibram outsole for better traction underfoot.
Two general release colorways of the Reebok DMX Trailzillo are now in the queue, one in blue/orange and another in black/white/neon green. Both drop November 6th, 2026 for $120 via the Reebok website, right alongside a collab by Houston’s A Herd of Bison. Check out detailed pics of both below if you’re a fan.
