Since its Supreme collaboration in 2019, the Nike Air Max Tailwind 4 (IV) has emerged in dozens of original and non-original colorways. While it hasn’t garnered the mainstream attention of other propositions under the visible Air cushioned-line, the model continues delivering 1990s flair to a modern audience. For its latest ensemble, the model has indulged in a “White/Ice/Platinum Tint/Total Orange” palette.
Maintaining the sneaker’s inaugural design, the newly-surfaced pair overlays “colorless” synthetic leather panels atop a breathable, “White” mesh base. Shimmering accents deliver character to both the aforementioned components, but also overtake the “cage”-reminiscent detailing across the mid-foot and heel. Branding throughout the shoe also follows suit, save for the swooshes at the forefoot and rear, which opt into a heritage-rooted orange tone. The Air Max Tailwind 4 reverts to a “White” and “Platinum Tint” arrangement for most of its tooling underfoot, but “Ice” makes its way into the visible Air Max cushioning and outsole.
