Pharrell Williams and adidas have been delivering compelling footwear together since 2014. Since then, their partnership has blossomed to include new silhouettes and projects that’ve extended beyond the collaboration’s original scope. Case in point: the adidas NMD Hu “Running Dog” by ICECREAM.
Birthed in the early aughts with the help of now-HUMAN MADE’s NIGO, the dessert-inspired clothing label has produced some of the most iconic images in streetwear over the last two decades. Its “Running Dog” logo has appeared on everything from jeans to fitted caps, with its latest variation arriving on the adidas NMD‘s PRIMEKNIT upper. Showcased in a black outline, the canine sits atop a military green arrangement, and is split in half between right and left shoes. “ICECREAM” branding appears on the former’s brown heel panel; plugs at the lateral forefoot follow suit, while the detailing towards the rear opts for a semi-transparent finish. Lastly, sole units favor a “colorless” style that allows the aforementioned components to revel in the spotlight.
Enjoy official images of the BOOST-cushioned collaboration here below, and anticipate an adidas.com launch soon.
Elsewhere under the Three Stripes umbrella, the Harden Vol. 6 arrives soon.
