Together, KANGHYUK and Reebok have delivered some of the most exciting collaborations in the sneaker world period. And as a result of their construction and materials, many of these releases share one glaring issue: quantity. Extremely limited in number and only ever offered at a small handful of retailers, these sneakers are near impossible to keep on the shelves, and deservingly so as many were produced like the Korean label’s own garments.
In 2022, though, it seems KANGHYUK is taking a different approach with their collaborative Reeboks. This is very clearly evidenced by the upcoming Classic Leather K, which features red stitching similar to the detailing found on the fashion brand’s airbag-built pieces. Said threading is done over top a standard nylon construction, likely affording more standard and efficient production. The price point, too, reflects this, as it sits at a relatively affordable $150 USD.
