Nike Air Max 90 “Light Bordeaux” Is Available Now

When it comes to retro runners, suede and mesh is a timeless, unbeatable combination. It all depends on the color-blocking, and over the last two-plus decades we’ve seen nearly every combination imaginable on the Air Max 90, a silhouette that continues to be one of the most popular in the world.

Every so often, Nike hits us with a surprise, delivering an attractive mix of hues on the 90 model. This latest release sees a Light Bordeaux and light purple suede, with a soft mesh in Armory Navy on the toe-box and ankle. Separating this Air Max 90 from the standard model is the suede covering on the heel medallion as well as the translucent rubber used beneath the Air Max unit. Finally, a new tongue label with an abstract painting replaces the classic Nike Air patch.
