The Nike Air Max 97 Goes Classic “Oregon”

The Nike Air Max 97 Goes Classic “Oregon”

The Nike Air Max 97 revolutionized the sneaker world in 1997. Currently celebrating its 25th anniversary, the sneaker continues to feel fresh despite no longer being the latest proposition from the Swoosh.

Christian Tresser’s iconic design is set to return in original “Silver Bullet” form before 2023 commences, but it’s dabbled in other color palettes and ensembles in the lead up to the big event. For its latest makeover, the full-length Air Max-cushioned silhouette revisited dark green and rich yellow tones to recreate a University of Oregon-friendly arrangement. A golden hue animates the majority of the vamp overlays, while mudguards opt for the darker of the two aforementioned colors. The visible Airbags underfoot revert to the pine tree-reminiscent green, rounding out the Ducks-appropriate outfit.

Enjoy official images of the pair ahead, and anticipate a Nike.com launch before 2022 ends.

Elsewhere under the “Swoosh” banner, the Nike Dunk is set to release in dozens of new styles soon.
