Michael Le Yoon Ahn has crafted numerous footwear collaborations alongside the Nike umbrella, modifying classics such as the Air Max 180, Chuck 70, and even the Dunk High. And with her latest joint effort, the designer is looking to yet another icon: the Air Force 1.
Surfaced earlier this year, the AMBUSH x Nike Air Force 1 Low has officially appeared in both its “Pine Green” and “Game Royal” colorways, both of which were previously revealed courtesy of early obtainers and Yoon Ahn herself. Similar to its predecessor, the AMBUSH x Nike Dunk High, the model itself ostensibly draws inspiration from Japan’s obsession with trucks, cars, and motorcycles, its modified Swoosh somewhat akin to a muffler. The details elsewhere — save for the heel tab, dubrae, and AMBUSH-branded heel piece — are much more familiar, boasting a premium leather construction all throughout.
