Jared Ebanks While Jerry Lorenzo and co. work behind the scenes towards carving out the next generation of on-court 3-Stripes propositions, adidas’ section of archives birthed from the hardwood have employed a seldom number of releases in its place. From the return of the Rivalry Lo 86 to the continued explorations of the adidas Top Ten 2000, the latter has most recently enjoyed a trio of team-centric tones ideal for the circuit or current high school season.
Each of the three silhouettes comes clothed in an identical base composition complete with a dominant treatment of “Off-White” hued leather overlays in tandem with its sectioned mesh upper whereas the surrounding nubuck panels and tongue construction proffers a stark “Core Black” contrast. Color matching the pitch-dark shade across its laces and protective strip branded with a multitude of Three Stripes logos for a simplistic scheme, samples of titular colors envelops the reinforced elastic branded straps across the mid and forefoot while furthering its selective placement across the sock liner, pull tabs and “adidas TEAM” tabs stitched onto the ankles.
