The Nike Air Max 97 Appears In A Spooky Halloween-Ready Look

It’s never too early to start preparing for the spookiest time of the year, or at least that’s what this upcoming Nike Air Max 97 has in mind, dressing in a murky association ready for Halloween.

Coating its typical mesh base layer in a grid-layered reconstructed upper, the entirety of the Christian Tresser design comes doused in a pitch-dark black. Color-matched across its laces, sock liner and nubuck full-length mudguard, Halloween’s staple orange hue comes injected within the pair of embroidered Swooshes atop the tongue and above the jet-black sole unit underfoot. Illuminated throughout its Air Max cushioning system, the latter vibrant orange hue decks out the translucent air bubble while providing finishing touches long the spine’s branding.

While we await the pair’s expected release date over the following months, in the meantime enjoy official images of the Nike Air Max 97 “Halloween” below.

For more under the Nike Inc. banner, LeBron’s Nike Air Zoom Generation is providing the retro treatment to its “First Game” colorway.
