There have never been more signature silhouettes in rotation than right now in 2023. With 22 players sporting their own signature shoe in the NBA last season, that number only continues to climb as independent brands begin to make their mark on the industry dominated by titans.
Founded by Langston Galloway and his wife, Ethics Brand was founded in 2021, with its inaugural on-court technology debuting in the first month of 2022. Prided on ethical manufacturing guidelines and the elimination of animal byproducts, the brand’s second on-court model is set to release on Wednesday.
Evolving from a mid-top construction to a low, the lgTWO utilizes a high-strength weave formulated by nylon to lock down the forefoot while featuring a reinforced digital stitch mapped throughout the upper. Accompanied by hand-stitching at the suede mudguard and overlays, the collar and mid-foot panels come shaped in the aesthetic of clouds with the brand’s tagline “ANYWHERE & EVERYWHERE” coming embossed up front. Employing the same footprint as the lgONE, its successor employs a dual-density cushioning system underfoot to absorb heel pressure while dispersing it through the forefoot whereas lateral and medial side torsion bars further the secured feel.
Scheduled to officially release this Wednesday, April 19th, in the meantime enjoy official imagery of the Ethics lgTWO below as we await further drop day details.
In other news, official imagery of the Air Jordan 3 “Wizards” was recently made available.
