Jared Ebanks From the Jordan Retro to Kobe’s Protro line, Under Armour and Stephen Curry too have begun crafting their own collection of the four-time Champion’s original signature silhouettes reimagined with updated cushioning and tooling. Dubbed the Flotro Series, the low-top construction of his debut signature model now enacts a vibrant tribute for Mother’s Day.
Crafted in honor of his wife Ayesha and mother Sonya, the UA Curry 1 Low Flotro gives the aforementioned overtly influential women their own flowers ahead of the May 14th holiday. Featuring the same floral pink print that doused the upper of the Curry 2 “Mother’s Day” PE from 2016, a greyscale backdrop livens the latter repeating graphic while jet-black tones darken the glossy heel counter. Embarking upon a vibrant “Hot Pink” gradient along the midsole, the mid-foot logo enjoys the same titular finish while a crisp white closing coats the tread underfoot.
