Sneaker News Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse is only a few weeks out from its premiere, and no one is quite as excited as the Swoosh. In addition to a collaborative Air Jordan 1, the brand has put out a number of inline colorways that bear a passing resemblance to the web-slinger. This Air Max Plus 3 is but another unofficial tribute, its design heavily reminiscent of Miles Morales’ signature suit.
This Nike Air Max Plus 3, much like Morales’ superhero attire, is dressed predominantly in black. Said neutral is used across the entirety of the shoe, coloring everything from the mesh base to the TPU detailing and sole unit. Red and blue, then, come in along the side and heel, respectively, effectively mimicking the shading and decals that pop whenever the young Spider-Man takes the screen.
Enjoy a closer look at the Air Max Plus 3’s unofficial nod to the Spider-Verse ahead. A release date has not yet been confirmed, but it likely shouldn’t be long before we see these on Nike.com and at select retailers.
