Michael Le From the Zoom Spiridon Cage 2 to the Air Max 2013, Stussy has helped bring awareness to a few of the Swoosh’s more forgotten silhouettes. And for 2023, the streetwear label will be bringing back yet another overlooked classic: the Nike Vandal.
While they may be working on a brand new canvas, Stussy’s take on the Nike Vandal employs many of the details we’ve come to associate with the brand. Save for the strap — which is dyed in black much like the adjacent laces and embroidered Swoosh — the hemp materials used are predominantly dressed in a dark navy. These cool-toned, natural fibers are employed throughout most of the upper, matching the nylon tongue as well as the outsole.
Finished with a white midsole and branded with Stussy’s signature 8 ball logo, these Vandals should be releasing sometime soon, with a release date sure to be announced within the next few months. As we await further updates, enjoy a closer look at the shoe via the official images ahead.
