Nike Applies A “Coconut Milk” And “Midnight Navy” Look To The Air More Uptempo

Nike Applies A “Coconut Milk” And “Midnight Navy” Look To The Air More Uptempo

The Nike Air More Uptempo is no longer the brand’s marquee basketball sneaker, but it continues to form an important part of its legacy.

Recently, the shoe often associated with Scottie Pippen appeared in a new “Coconut Milk” and “Midnight Navy” color scheme. As with past iterations of Wilson Smith’s design, the upcoming pair features its most contrasting tone across the “AIR” text on the sides. Base layers, then, opt for a uniform off white hue that allows for the aforementioned branding to revel in the spotlight. Laces and nearby trimming of the “AIR” lettering deviate in “White,” matching the bulk of the sole unit underfoot in the process. Lastly, Air Max cushioning favors the “Coconut Milk” color that covers the leather and mesh components up-top, making for a clean makeover of the “golden era” basketball shoe.

Enjoy official photos of the pair ahead, and anticipate a nike.com launch before summer ends.
