Following the carefully crafted editions of both the Air Jordan 12 and Air Jordan 1 in high and low top forms, the Air Jordan 4 and a duo of ADG 4s, Eastside Golf has quickly become a routine collaborator with the Jumpman over the past two years. Founded with the intention of endearing the younger generation to the green, the black-owned brand now returns with its second expansive collection that boasts the inclusion of the Air Jordan 6 Low.
Inspired by the year 1961 when the PGA tour lifted its ban on non-white players, the put-ready ensemble affixed with spikes along the tread enjoys a Tour-synonymous palette of white, black and green. Dressing the nubuck underlays in the latter pitch-dark shade, the surrounding tumbled leather construction dawns a contrasting white outfit while the evergreen shades are reserved for the speckled midsole, tread and the lace pocket bearing the banner’s swingman logo. Premium golden metallic hits ring true throughout, centering on the branded lace toggles and the heel’s embroidered Jumpman insignia whereas the translucent tread concludes with “1961” and “CHANGE” messaging.
