Basketball has been and will continue to be an international sport. Growing feverishly across the world’s many continents, the game of basketball’s global impact was further cemented this past weekend at the Jordan Sponsored Quai 54 tournament that featured a first look at the Air Jordan 38’s homage to the International Basketball Federation.
From recent Jordan Brand signee Gabby Williams to the upcoming FIBA World Cup, the Beaverton brand has more than earned its global credentials and reputation. Featuring a clad-white offering, the latest colorway from the Air Jordan 38 dresses in a monochrome palette with jet-black contrasts lining the back side of the tongue and medial TPU clip. Elsewhere, the AJ 8-inspired tongue tab devotes its circular insignia to a pristine golden metallic treatment alongside the heel’s embroidered Jumpman while the FIBA World Cup trophy comes affixed to the interior tongue.
The Air Jordan 38 “FIBA” is scheduled to release on September 7th for a retail price of $200. In the meantime, enjoy a detailed look at the pair below.
In other news, the upcoming Nike Kobe 6 Protro “Reverse Grinch” recently surfaced in preview imagery.
