The New Balance 550 Keeps It Simple In White And Cream

The New Balance 550 has delivered a handful of new styles over the course of the Summer. But unlike several of these, this latest option forgoes color entirely, opting for a more understated, white-on-cream look.

Much of the shoe, as per usual, is constructed of white leathers, from the perforated side panel to the smoother surface of the neighboring overlays. Cream comes in along the adjacent accents, highlighting elements such as the “N” logo, the suede toe box, and, most notably, the midsole. Grey bottoms, blacked-out “550” text, and an off-white lace unit, then, help round out the colorway.
