Nike Continues To Cash In On Barbie Mania With The Dunk Low

Nike Continues To Cash In On Barbie Mania With The Dunk Low

With the Barbie movie premiere on July 21st, how wonderfully fortuitous for Nike that official images of this pink Dunk Low suddenly appears?

Fresh off the heels of the first look at the Nike Air Max Scorpion “Barbie”, we now present official images of the uber-popular Dunk Low outfitted with the perfect get-up for Barbie fans. Above a pink and cream yellow colorway, Nike adds a gigantic “N” lace accessory that comes fully encrusted in faux-diamond stones. The swoosh appears on a darker brown shade with a glittered finish, as does the heel-tab. A starry pattern appears on the tongue logo as well as the suede mid-panel, while an elegant pink texture lines the plush interior. Finally, a unique cursive-style font appears on the tongue.

These are by no means an official collaboration between Nike and the Barbie franchise, but again, the timing of this appearance is simply perfect. Droves of Barbie fans and 80s babies are projected to flock to the cinemas this weekend, raising the demand for these Barbie Dunks.

A firm release date is currently unknown, but stay tuned for release details.
