This Nike Air Max Scorpion Can Round Out Your Barbie Premiere Outfit

Over the last year, the Nike Air Max Scorpion has demonstrated the brand’s ability to innovate under less-than-ideal circumstances.

Produced entirely during the COVID-19 pandemic, the sneaker brings the largest visible Air Max unit to date to the masses. Flyknit construction up-top further expands the technology’s legacy as well. The latest makeover of the Air Max Scorpion sees a hot pink arrangement appropriate for the premiere of the Barbie movie on July 21st. The eye-catching pair not only features shades of pink throughout the upper and sole unit, but also enjoys non-standard embroidery and different branding across the upper. Stars land on the lateral swooshes and sockliners, with “Nike” text resembling the font that’s accompanied the Barbie movie’s impressive marketing. Furthermore, parts of the upper opt for fuzzy updates that fall in line with the warmth of Mattel’s fictional character.

Enjoy official photos of the pair ahead, and anticipate a nike.com launch in the near future.
