The being formerly known as “Kanye West” is no longer producing new footwear with the Three Stripes, but that hasn’t stopped adidas from ridding itself of old inventory.
Since May, leadership at the German sportswear behemoth has been launching existing Yeezys via the CONFIRMED app, closing an important chapter in its modern history. Earlier in August, retailer partners joined the farewell party, selling off product they had kept in storage since October 2022. One such pair is the adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “MX Dark Salt,” another experimental pair from Ye’s mind. The sneaker features all of the signature design details that made the 350 V2 one of the most ubiquitous on the market – Primeknit uppers, Boost cushioning, and Yeezy branding. The knit top, however, forgoes any uniform finishes in favor of a mixed (hence: “MX”) makeup that injects personality into the dark-colored pair. A charcoal stripe runs the length of the lateral side, meeting the pull tab at the heel for another design cue standard to the popular Yeezy sneaker.
Enjoy official photos of the “MX Dark Salt” style ahead, and find the shoes available right now at select retailers for $230 USD.
