Michael Le Following its introduction earlier in the year, the “Futura” collection quickly added many of the most popular Air Maxes to its ranks. And though appearances from these models have since become more infrequent, the beginning of a new season seems to be enough of an excuse for Nike to begin crafting new colorways.
Similar to its Air Max 90-inspired counterpart, the Nike Air Max 97 Futura, too, is lining up a number of colorways for the Fall/Winter. Compared to the more neutral-dominant styles that surfaced weeks prior, this pair is much more colorful, albeit in a way still appropriate to the season. Aside from the light pink bottom as well as the white contrast stitching and matching midsole, the shoe is rendered almost entirely in a “Violet Ore,” which paints mesh, suede, and leather alike.
