Alongside the brand’s TWO WXY series, the New Balance Fresh Foam BB extends the other half of the Boston brand’s burgeoning on-court discography. Infused with the banner’s unparalleled full-length cushioning system, the 3/4 trim silhouette has compiled a range of titular colorways for its NBA wearers. Now, Fresh Foam BB looks toward the “Dad Shoes” trend that reinvigorated the brand just a few years ago.
Eerily akin to the color wheel used by Georgia Tech, the model itself has been renovated to mirror its lifestyle discographies layered uppers. The clad mesh tooling has since been replaced with a repeating collection of “Sea Salt” tinted canvas overlays which carve out oval sections to reveal the navy blue and gold trim “N” logo. The dark blue treatment further consumes the heel counter, tread and the tongues’ branded embellishment while faded gold accents illuminate the suede heel panel and the hexagonal cushioning system underfoot.
The New Balance Fresh Foam BB “Dad Shoe” is scheduled to release this Friday, September 29th, for a retail price of $130. In the meantime, the pair can be seen in detailed imagery below.
