Team USA has some hard cuts looming on their guard-heavy roster before the official start of the 2014 FIBA World Cup, but last night at Madison Square Garden both James Harden and Kyrie Irving proved themselves worthy of roster spots. Derrick Rose received a standing ovation despite never leaving his warm-ups as Coach K made the point guard a late scratch, but there was plenty to look forward to in terms on in game action, especially when glancing at what the players decided to lace up.
