The Nike World Basketball Festival kicked off earlier today in Chicago, with the Opening Ceremony for the events going down just a few hours ago. Earlier today, the American squad took the court for some five-on-five practice, and despite being split into two separate squads, they will soon band together as they take on Brazil this Saturday for an exhibition game.
Sneaker News was invited to the Team USA practice session, and we took the time to note the sneakers worn by the players (who are are still vying for position in that final roster cut). We’ve got a complete comprehensive look below, so check out this near-complete look at Team USA Basketball’s sneaker selection and stay tuned for more updates as the U.S. approaches the FIBA World Cup.
Note: DeMarcus Cousins left practice early due to an injury. He is listed as day-to-day.
