Trying to depict a surrealist painting from Salvadore Dali of all people as an inspiration behind a sneaker is no easy task, and yet Spanish retailer Limited Edt. managed with their unique take on the Asics Gel Lyte V for their decade anniversary. A harkening back to Dali’s The Persistence of Memory and the Catalonian landscape the painting displays, the Gel Lyte V features a gradient blue on the midsole in a nod to the oil painting’s sky while orange neoprene and brown leather coexist on the upper. Watch out for this “SurrEDalliste” pair to arrive in-store on December 13th and then broaden its horizons on December 20th. Check out more photos below.
