It wasn’t necessarily a shoe anybody was asking for, but now that it’s here, it will surely be a hot item. We’re talking about the Air Jordan 1.5, the obscure piece of Air Jordan history that has now become a reality for all. Worn as a prototype by Michael Jordan late in the Air Jordan 1 campaign before the Air Jordan II was released, the “1.5”—as it is now being called—features the Air Jordan 2 tooling atop the standard Air Jordan 1 “Chicago” upper, apparently utilized as an early wear-test for the second Jordan signature. After a few early previews of the shoe, we finally have a release date to report. You can pick up your pair of the Air Jordan 1.5 on July 25th, 2015.
