Hip-hop and the sneaker game often go hand in hand, so when watching the new video for J-Dilla’s “24K Rap,” featuring Raekwon and Havoc of Mobb Deep, many sneakerheads will notice a familiar backdrop behind the action. Late last month, we gave you a look at some behind the scenes pics from the filming of the video that just so happened to be shot at none other than legendary NYC shop, Alife. Store manager Jesse Villanueva even makes an appearance in the video as a victim who is tied up and robbed in the store. Besides the setting for the video being a sneaker store, there are also some sneaker cameos in the footage, such as Raekwon holding up a pair of LIVESTRONG Mister Cartoon Air Force 1’s. Check out the video here and keep reading for some more inside looks at the video shoot.
