One big reason why Nike retros are doing so well in stores is that the generation the grew up loving them is today’s generation of disposable income paired with the gotta-have-it mentality. That said, Nike might be going all out with re-releasing the later-1990s models moving forward, because a sneaker that nobody thought would ever hit stores again is coming back in OG colorways and newer varieties alike. The Air Max 120 was a sneaker so ugly that it looked cool, and its unorthodox upper and ACG-like outsole was nothing you’d ever expect for an Air Max runner. Perhaps that idea is why Air Max became so legendary, because it simply was nothing we ever expected. We know the OG White/Orange/Yellow pair hit stores, so brace yourselves for the OG Royal/Yellow and even a new monochromatic look. Both are releasing very soon.
