UK sneaker and apparel retailer END teams up with New Balance for the very first time this summer for a special collaboration on the men’s 575. A lesser-utilized silhouette when it comes to collaborations, END chose the classic 575 runner as their foundation to sculpt the “Marble White” colorway, inspired by the famous Carrara quarry in Italy. Found at the northern tip of Tuscany, the gigantic quarry’s prized marble has been used to create the architectural wonders of ancient Rome as well as priceless works of art including Michelangelo’s ‘David’. Still being excavated today, the world’s largest source of marble at Carrara was the direct inspiration for the light grey and white colorway of the 575 built in premium nubuck with pigskin suede detailing.

With photos shot on site at the Carrara quarry, you can preview the END x New Balance 575 “Marble White” here before they drop exclusively at END in-store Thursday, August 18th, followed by an online release on Saturday August 20th at midnight in the UK (7:00 PM Friday EST.)
