The Air Max 97 Appears In Mustard Yellow

The Air Max 97 Appears In Mustard Yellow

After surfacing in several light tonal colorways over the last few weeks, Nike’s storied Air Max 97 has now arrived in a bright mustard yellow—a surprising switch of sorts as the Swoosh Brand has seemingly been trending towards a more minimalist approach when it comes to color palettes for the bullet train-inspired runner. Offering a bright and bold look perfect for summer or fall, this new “Mustard” 97 features an intense yellow on the mudguard and plunging upper panels. Tonal contrast is provided by a slightly lighter yellow on the mesh underlays and tongue, and a white midsole breaks up the upper’s mix of yellow tones. The shoe is then completed by a yellow Air Max unit and a black outsole. Expect these bright new kicks to arrive on Nike.com in the coming weeks for $160 USD, and be sure to check out our Sneaker Release Dates page for all the updates you need on other upcoming fall releases.
