First Look At The Game Of Thrones x adidas Ultra Boost

First Look At The Game Of Thrones x adidas Ultra Boost

Game Of Thrones is inarguably one of the most revered television shows in history. Few programs have demanded as much attention as George R. R. Martin’s series, inspiring internet memes, costumes, conventions, and now a collaborative collections of Ultra BOOSTs with adidas. Much like the upcoming adidas Dragon Ball Z capsule, this six-piece set pays homage to Thrones’ thought-provoking characters by grouping them into their respective houses portrayed on the show. In early August, we were able to bring you photoshop renderings of the six sneakers set to be included in the Game of Thrones adidas drop, but now we have a first look at the two pairs designed for House Targaryen, one for the silver-haired Daenerys Stormborn and the other for her beloved and menacing trio of dragons. The former comes done up in a stark white construction with glistening silver stripes to represent her slick silver blonde hair that has become an iconic part of her character throughout both the HBO show and the books. Second, the pair for her dragons equips a black back half and BOOST sole while the tongue opts for a fiery red hue woven into its Primeknit, resemblant of a dragon’s mouth opening and spewing destructive fire. Currently, no official release date has been confirmed, but you can grab a first look at the two House Targaryen Ultra BOOSTs below and be sure to check into our adidas Game of Thrones page for any and all updates as we have them.

Update 3/12/19: The adidas Ultra Boost x Game Of Thrones collection will release March 22nd. Check out an adidas Game Of Thrones buyer’s guide to see what retailers will have stock, and note it will be coming to adidas.com soon.
