Slam Jam And adidas Consortium Deliver A Superstar And POD s3.1

Slam Jam And adidas Consortium Deliver A Superstar And POD s3.1

As a brand that balances classic heritage designs with futuristic technology and innovations, adidas has managed to move towards their future while still maintaining a firm grasp on their past — and sometimes they even combine the two, as they did with their recent Never Made collection. Now their mash-up of old and new continues, as they’ve linked with esteemed retailer Slam Jam Socialism for a two pack of collaborative silhouettes: a classic adidas Superstar and a new-age adidas POD s3.1. The Superstar opts for a minimalist look with the smooth leather side panel featuring a perforated take on the classic Three Stripe hit and black co-branded hits. Black detailing on the heel and a classic rubber toe cap then complete the look. The POD keeps it contemporary with a mix of white and cream tones while a plentiful helping of soft leather adds a premium feel — and a chunky Boost heel offers exemplary cushioning. Check out both pairs below, and look for both of these collaborative kicks to release November 10th on Slam Jam’s webstore and in their Milan retail location.
