Michelle Morin’s Artwork Reappears On The Nike Air Max 1 Golf “Enemies Of The Course”

As if golf wasn’t challenging enough (even in the most ideal of settings), the players have maintain concentration while dealing with the roadblocks of the natural flora and fauna on the green. In 2016, Nike celebrated the unsung heroes of the sport – the groundskeepers and greenskeepers that keep the courses flawless and free of disruption – by tapping artist Michelle Morin to create a hand-drawn depiction of the critters and clumps of weeds. For this upcoming Air Max 1 Golf, Nike has brought back her familiar illustration by placing it along the interior lining, insoles, and even beneath the footbed through the translucent soles. As part of an ongoing effort to essentially abolish the boring nature of golfing gear, Nike has released some impressive footwear and apparel to not only attract the younger demographic of players, but break the stigma of the “old man’s game”.
