Originally launched in 2001 as a Japan-exclusive, the Nike Dunk Low “Veneer” finally sees a global retail launch on Tuesday, November 10th.
Part of the beloved “Ugly Ducklings” collection, the pair boasts a mostly-suede construction clad in a palette reminiscent of swamp tones: “Veneer/Autumn Green/Deep Purple.” As evidenced by the fanfare given to some Air Jordan 1 options of the last two years, brown has somewhat become an “it” color; its application on the 19-year-old retro has unquestionably attracted new-school Dunk Low aficionados. Complementary hues keep the proposition muted, although the scheme across the collar and towards the shoes’ heels deliver some eye-catching flair. Underfoot, the non-Nike SB sole unit indulges in a white midsole/”Deep Purple” outsole combination.

Elsewhere under the NIKE, Inc. umbrella, the sacai VaporWaffle begins its rollout on November 6th.
