The monthly Eastbay catalog was THE choice of reading material back in the 90s; we’ve all surveyed each page, examining each pair and memorizing MSRPs and comparing colorways. But check out this Eastbay catalog from 1987, featuring shoes that released during one of the most memorable years of the footwear game. You can see that not much has changed with Eastbay’s page layout (wish we could say the same about the prices), and these scans of an ’87 catalog will reveal some original silhouettes that have reached legendary status. You’ll notice the Nike Air Trainer 1, Nike Air Max 1, Air Jordan II, adidas Forum Mid, and the Converse Weapon – all of which are as relevant as they come. This a truly a nostalgic treat, so check out what Eastbay was like 23 years ago by reading on.
