Nike Dunk SB – 2008 Archive
The Nike Dunk SB snapped right back into form in 2008 with some of their most creative releases yet. Themed Dunks were in heavy supply, with several concepts once again being spread over a few sneakers. A rock n’ roll theme was very prominent to start the year with the Fender and Gibson Guitar Dunks, as well as the Guns N’ Roses and Mötley Crüe editions. Nike also paid tribute to 80’s skateboarding video games with the Skate or Die and 720 Degrees Dunks. Later in the year, Nike SB gave out some superhero love, with nice Batman, Spiderman and Venom inspired colorways. With all that cohesiveness going on, they still had time to create some incredible one-shots like the Ferris Bueller, Shoe Goo and Boba Fett High models, the Clubber Lang Mid and the Newcastle and Lobster Lows.
