adidas Jellyfish
The adidas Jellyfish (full name VIRGINIA Adistar Jellyfish) is the latest sneaker collaboration between Pharrell Williams and adidas, first unveiled at Paris Fashion Week in March 2025. The debut came in a bold orange colorway, which would later release as the model’s official launch pair that August.
Aesthetically, the Jellyfish can be likened to Balenciaga trainers, boasting an exaggeratedly chunky and wide build — measuring nearly six inches across in most sizes. The silhouette reimagines the adidas Adistar Cushion (originally released in 2005), amplifying it with a heavy TPU construction designed to play with visual perception. From a side profile, it appears deceptively sleek, but viewed from above, its true bulk becomes clear.
As expected from a Pharrell sneaker, the Jellyfish has become one of adidas’ most coveted new models. Every colorway to date has sold out instantly and now commands nearly triple its $300 retail price on aftermarket platforms like StockX and GOAT.
Beyond that intial “Focus Olive/Orange,” the adidas Jellyfish let loose two paired releases: the “Real Green” and the “Solid Grey” dropped together in October, while the “Triple Black” and “Royal Blue” started its 2026 journey in February. A “Triple White” edition released on August 1st, followed shortly thereafter by a “Crystal Sand.” These pairs were notable for greatly expanding out the retail network where the silhouette was offered. Previously relying on just adidas channels and boutiques, both ere offered at big box retailers like Foot Locker, Finish Line, and the like, possibly signalling that the Jellyfish will be a far more accessible silhouette in the months to come.
Speaking of, further plans for its second calendar year are tightly under wraps, but Williams himself has debuted a few colorways that could be considerations for later into the slate.
