Sneaker News One of the earliest colorways of Pharrell Williams’ adidas Jellyfish appears to be headed back to shelves.
The VIRGINIA Adistar Jellyfish “Black” is expected to receive a wider release in October, after first launching in limited quantities on February 21st. While adidas has yet to officially announce the return, Sneaker News spotted the shoe on an upcoming release calendar from retailer Snipes, complete with an official product image and a matching SKU.
Its October return could also signal considerably better availability. The recently released white-based Jellyfish received a much broader launch than some of the model’s earliest drops, potentially offering a blueprint for how adidas plans to distribute the silhouette moving forward. Whether the “Black” follows suit remains to be seen, but its appearance at a major retailer like Snipes is certainly encouraging for anyone who missed out the first time around.
For now, expect the Pharrell x adidas VIRGINIA Adistar Jellyfish “Black” to return sometime in October. An exact release date and details regarding additional retailers have yet to be confirmed by adidas.
