If you’re a regular Sneaker News reader who’s into Jordans, you’ve probably already started making your plans for the big year of retro releases ahead of us in 2011. We’ve been keeping you up to date all along the way, and now the latest to join the 2011 party is the classic Black/Metallic Silver Air Jordan V. According to Korean site, itsshoestime, the black Air Jordan V Retro will hit retail next May, along with previously reported goodies like the True Blue Air Jordan III, Cardinal Air Jordan VII and a mysterious AJ VII that may turn out to be either the White/Orion Blue/Infrared edition or “no-logos” sample that we’ve seen pop up a few times. When you add these up with some other 2011 options like the Bordeaux VII’s, White/Cement III’s, Altitude XIII’s and the possibility of the rumored Grape/Laney pack, it might be a good idea to plan ahead. In the meantime, check out a rundown of some confirmed and potential 2011 retro releases after the jump, and stick with Sneaker News for the latest Air Jordan release info.

JB is really disappointing me…there are so many shoes that they can release and they keep releasing the same stuff….like come on jb the grapes just came out a couple years ago, and so did the blk/grey 5s and the cardinal 7s……..release some shoes that havent been out for a while. just release the laney 5s, no need for grapes too. jb is really disappointing me..stop releasing shoes with minor lil changes to get more money off of the same product & stop releasing shoes that just came out. ex….varsity 6 then infrared 6…now black 5 with 23, now they come out without it….and grape 5s just came out, no need to come out again already. and if the grapes do come out they should put a 23 up there so everyone that ddnt sleep on tha grapes tha first time will stand out, b/c now everyone just wants grapes cuz of hype and how high the prices on line are

I think JB is doing this to cut out resellers. Why allow a reseller the ability to make profit when they can just release the shoe again and again and basically ruin its mystique? And devalue the retro for all novices. Nobody will pay those rape prics for these kicks cause now they will be everywhere. The slight changes are for the purist to differentiate between the two but lets be honest we all know the quality will be worse then before so these should be everyday beaters for aIl who already own them and have them tucked away in their Bat Caves. Lol. I personally don't mind cause I been wanting some TBIII's and Cement III's just to wear everyday. Come on Cement 4's and I am done!!!!!
