Sneaker News The NIGO x J-Hope x Nike Air Force 1 ’01 “Burnt Sunrise” has been unveiled, bringing the Japanese designer and BTS superstar together for an upcoming three-way collaboration with Nike.
The first look was revealed at the Human Made flagship store in Tokyo, where the collaborative Air Force 1 was put on display on feet of both individuals. Dubbed “Burnt Sunrise,” the shoe works with a warm combination of brown and gold tones, with a special graphic appearing at the heel in place of conventional branding. News of the NIGO J-Hope Air Force 1 collaboration first surfaced back in June, although no images were provided.
While this marks a new footwear project between the two, NIGO and J-Hope already have an established creative relationship. J-Hope has been a longtime admirer of NIGO’s work dating back to his BAPE years, eventually developing a friendship with the influential Japanese designer. That connection produced the HUMAN HOPE collection with Human Made in 2025, a project NIGO himself characterized around the idea of “friendship.”
The “Burnt Sunrise” seems like the next chapter of that relationship, this time extending into NIGO’s growing work with Nike and the Swoosh brand’s partnership with the seven-man pop-group out of South Korea.
The NIGO x J-Hope x Nike Air Force 1 ’01 “Burnt Sunrise” is expected to release this Holiday 2026 season. An exact release date and retail price have yet to be announced.
