Air Jordan XII ‘Obsidian’

We’re already looking ahead to the Summer 2012 schedule of Air Jordan releases, and April and May are already looking pretty great with the release of the ‘Playoffs’ and ‘Cool Grey’ colorways of the Air Jordan XII. Dropping in June is the ‘Obsidian’ – one of the few remaining OG colorways that have yet to be re-issued (that is, if you don’t count the low-top release). As you can see, these will also come attached with the XII hangtag that was first seen on the Air Jordan XII ‘Playoffs’. We’ll keep you updated with more details and viewings, but for now, enjoy this first set of angles below! via sh

Oh my goodness man, yall must mot see it or just ignoring it. The back tab is flipped around and not like the OG's, but the olympic 6's has one color swap and yall freak out. Not one person in here said anything about that. Me I dont car it looks good either way but im surprise by the ppl on here who bash the olympic 6's for a small swap and the back tab on here is way different but its overlooked
Tab seems fine to me, just missing the white linning (looked at a OG a second ago). The colors on the pic look way bright almost like the university blue is looking like aqua. The 23 went from obsidian to university blue. I'm cool with that because that is the only thing I would've changed on the OG. But the biggest change is the carbon fiber. People might not care because is on the sole, but if you take the concord of the xi's sole what would you call them?
I dont understand why JB changed it up with the flu games. They should've left them leather like they're doing with these upcoming og colorways. Never had these Obsidians so im looking forward to these.
I really don't see what the big hype are about these. They pretty wack to me. Honestly the "Playoffs" take a dump on these. You can't beat true jordan colors: Red, Black, White. For me its gonna be a in the store decision because I really gotta see these in person. I absolutely hate that the Pull tab on the back & the stitching is Carolina blue. And I can just see that sole turning a dirty yellow soon. SMH...these are weak to me. Entirely too much heat dropping this year to be pressed about these. Never the less, if this many people is geeking them on SN then i'll probably cop just for resellers sake; make me a quick buck!
the playoffs have three changes but they still look amazing, the jordan writing at the back is red instead of white, the jumpman on the sole towards the toe are is red instead of black and the carbon fiber is a lighter grey then before but it's not like they changed the leather to nubuck. they had to change something,

These those grey and orange joints along with the playoffs and the taxis too. I will be gettin all pairs of XIIs that release because they were the first pair of jordans I ever bought on my own. I bought the taxis near my bday in 96

i really cant wait for these. copping the playoffs and these. i like the cool grey's, but i think im going to pass on them.
I'm getting these, didn't have my size when the OG came out, so I got the white/reds. Only minor concern is that the carbon fiber is silver/black and it used to be obsidian/university. It's like releasing the taxis without the taxi/black carbon fiber.... I'm getting, yet that suxs.
I think all the 12's dropping this year look good, even the cool grey which will probably be on the fence for people
2 pairs for me, most adult looking jays IMO. Hopefully by the summer all new heads are broke or they realize you can't resale everything.

These pics take an already dope shoe to a whole new level!! I wish they wouldn't put the pic up so long in advance!! I am not a patient person and the more pics we see now the more people we'll see on drop day!! Not good that there already starting with these!!!
Found the lows years ago on a Footaction Clearance table for 6.99. I fucking wish it would be this easy with these, my favorite colorway of all time.
