Pharrell and adidas Originals managed to bring us on of the summer’s most unexpected hits in the adidas NMD “Human Race”. Not only does the adidas NMD serve as comfortable a canvas as any for Pharrell to work his magic on thanks to the full-length Boost midsole and sock-like slip-on construction, but additions like a new supportive cage on the heel added a new dimension. The vibrant yellow retail release isn’t all that Pharrell and the three stripes were working on either, as alternate samples showcase both deep maroon and red pairs in traditional a ‘Human Race’ English callout and added Chinese symbols on others.
